Started in 2011 as a filmmaking challenge, India Film Project has grown to become one of the successful communities of content creators across the globe. The community comprises of over 6.5L film and content enthusiasts from over 40 countries currently.The flagship festival, comprising of 50 hour filmmaking challenge and over dozen of other creative competes, takes place annually in Mumbai. The IFP Season 9, held in Sep-Oct 2019 saw over 60,000 creators coming together and producing over 1,700+ short films, 800+ scripts, 600+ spoken words and over 1,000 posters over a weekend. The festival in Mumbai saw 18,000+ attendees over the duration of two days.The young entertainment company has found itself growing from a festival to a fledged web-content production house, working with some of the best brands like Coca Cola, Nestle, Maruti Suzuki, Pepsico, Diageo, Flipkart, Nokia, Hotstar, Godrej, GroupM and many more.
