Jiwa Foods has established a state-of-the-art exotic vegetables project in Western India. Activities include growing, packaging / processing, and using cold storage effectively to ensure minimal wastage and optimal quality from farm to fork. Most (if not all) products will be organic in nature with high nutritional value. The first product from the Jiwa farm is button mushrooms which are grown in a hi-tech indoor environment which ensures excellent quality. Jiwa is one of the largest producers of button mushrooms. Jiwa will also create a long-term and sustainable social impact by: - Associating with local farmers for contract farming, i.e. where the entire production by a farmer is bought back by Jiwa - Employing locals, thereby enhancing employment potential - Recycling agriculture waste into health food
