International Salon Culinaire is the UK's largest and most prestigious chef competition programme that has been championing culinary excellence for over a century and open to chefs of all levels. The competition is comprised of varying categories from hot and cold cooking and skills competitions to the Salon Display static culinary art competitions incorporating plate and platter displays as well as sugar craft, showcasing the tremendous skills and talent within our industry. The competition ordinarily takes place during Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) at ExCel, London and IFEX at TEC, Belfast. International Salon Culinaire also administers the Scottish Culinary Championships during ScotHot at SEC, Glasgow. However, following the postponement of our live shows, this year Salon Culinaire has moved to a hybrid format and shall run a series of live and virtual competitions between February 2021 and June 2021.
