MCT has its roots in port services, established in the early80's to provide the full range of port services initially for theport of Thessaloniki, Greece.By early 2000, the company grew organically in fleet size andoperations, with consistently positive economic indexes,thus becoming the regional market leader in that sector.The acquisition of the first offshore vessels, AHT and AHTSfor operations in Black Sea and West Africa in 2002 was thebeginning of the build up of the offshore expertise andoperational excellence of MCT.The company has secured over the last 20 years noteworthycontracts with Petrobras (still ongoing contract for one AHTSunit) ENI, ADNOC, QatarGas, Petrobel, among some ofthem, and contractors such as Saipem and SAROST, whilesecuring over 300 international towages and being activelyinvolved in Salvage, Assistance Operations and WreckRemovals.
