With Red (Global With Red Association) is the first nonprofit organisation to tackle period poverty and stigma and promote Taiwan's period equity. We believe that everyone has the right to live freely regardless of gender, identity, race or difference of any kind. In the past two years, we continue to eliminate period poverty and stigma through frontline social work, education and advocacy. Our projects and actions have reached more than 330K students, teachers and parents, across Taiwan and were awarded the 2021 Diana Award and Innovative Education Award. In addition, we have positively impacted more than 200 unprivileged teenage menstruators, under 18, across 15 cities with a long-term supportive program - free sanitary product packs, self-care and period education, and training for social workers. During COVID-19, when period poverty became worse, we continue to support more than 1000 women, girls and people who menstruate of all ages from underrepresented and under-resourced populations, which prevents them from falling into a cycle of poverty. Furthermore, we stand for diversity and inclusion and are committed to fighting for menstrual equity and gender equality until the above mentioned become a reality.
