Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) is a non-profit public broadcaster that has been providing regular radio services since 1926 and television broadcasts since 1957. LRT joined European Broadcasting Union in 1993. Radio station LRT klasika concentrates on culture and classic music, while LRT Opus - on non-commercial music production and on-air shows for youth.The programme of LRT televizija consists of news broadcasts, public, social, cultural, educational and entertaining TV production, while LRT kultūra is mainly a culture channel.
