Love is the most powerful force that nurtures authentic, benevolent hope. Empowerment is arguably the most supportive element. And while families may naturally love their own children, empowerment, is not as instinctive—particularly for low income communities. It is, however, a skill that can be learned and a resource to be leveraged.We aspire to be that resource so that families can once again become the source of hope for their children and we'll do so by empowering families to foster a sustainable environment through health awareness, educational resources and social development. Helping children to see themselves for who they are is the essence of empowerment. They need to see and believe how valuable they are and to embrace their capability and competence.What's stopping our children from embracing these beliefs? Permission. They believe that permission is needed in order to become the successful people they were meant to be and to achieve their wildest dreams. And so, we're on a mission. We're returning to every child the permission that has been either systematically suppressed or generationally denied so they can fulfill their highest potential.
