The CESC (Centre for Learning and Capacity Building for Civil Society) is a Mozambican non-profit organization that support civil society organisation with knowledge, learning and capacity development mechanisms to improve te level and quality of citizen participation in development process. The centre´s vision is that society where citizens have the freedom, space, capacity and will to interven and influence social, political and economic development process to improve and ensure their well-being. The CESC´s mission is to streght the capacity of the civil society to act and influence with quality the process of social, political and economic changes in their communities through applied research, capacity building programmes and generation and dissemination of information and knowledge.The guinding values are: Internal strength, Integrity, Honesty, Willingness to Lear and Contribute and Respect for Human-Kind.The CESC has been working with a set of partners as: UNICEF, FDC, PNUD, DFID, Southern Africa Trust, IBIS, MASC, State of Union Coalition (SOTU).
