Who Are We:Our Club, established in 1923, is a family oriented yacht club dedicated to promoting all forms of boating and to provide a social atmosphere for our members.Where Are We:Richmond County Yacht Club is located on the South shore of Staten Island on western shore of Great Kills Harbor.Great Kills Harbor is one of the finest deep water yacht harbors on the Atlantic Coast. A nearly circular, virtually landlocked basin of .375 sq. miles is well protected from the from storms and provides beautiful views. A well marked channel provides ease access to New York Lower and Raritan Bays which have great sailing and fishing. The harbor is a federal anchorage allowing for moorings. Mooring permits are controlled by the NYC Parks Department.What We Offer:Our club has a long, deep water pier with 40 berths, providing the usual shore side water and electrical service. Storage for small boats i.e. Sunfish, Kayaks and auxiliary dinghies storage either in the water, on floats or upland. For the small boats stored upland there is a electric hoist for launching. Our tender service is scheduled to run from May through October, serving our members with boats on moorings in the harbor. We also have equipment for hauling and placing moorings.We have an active junior sailing program which teaches children to sail in the summer.Our newly renovated club house and deck area are open 12 months a year and having spectacular views of our great harbor and serve as the center of our social activates. We have club run summer deck parties and inside winter parties that are always a great time.For those of you that live in the city and don't drive, we are only 1 block away from MTA bus routesWe are the boating oasis that you will not believe is in New York City.
