Frustrated by how remote work has cut off casual interactions with co-workers, we created ShayHi to improve work life. Our purpose is to help teammates develop a sense of safety and connection with each other, because it's hard for teams to do great work without trust or if members feel lonely or isolated. This need feels even greater with the pandemic. We want to make it easy for everyone in a team to share real things about themselves, in an authentic and work-appropriate way. Starting with a "Who Am I?" activity, you can invite teammates to share notes and photos about their lives outside of work, then proceed to additional activities to further develop their profile, welcome new team members, and ensure safety and trust as people move between teams and organizations.
