Catawba Lands Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust that works to save land in the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina to preserve a healthy, natural environment for future generations by protecting clean water, wildlife habitat, local farms and connections to nature.As lead agency for the Carolina Thread Trail, the Conservancy works to connect lives to nature by inviting people outdoors to hike, bike, paddle and play on a 15-county network of trails, greenways and blueways that will connect more than 2.3 million people in North and South Carolina.
