InMind Children's Services focus on treating children and young people who have suffered emotional and psychological trauma through abuse, exploitation, neglect or violence. \\Our intention within InMind Children's Services is to provide the safe environment necessary through ‘Care, Integrity & Innovation'. Our practice principles and theory are based on neuro-scientific facts and well researched evidence. These have been simplified into a workable model that is easily understood by children and young people, their families, multi-disciplinary team partners and our staff teams. \\Through our practice model, we attempt to give the child or young person an understanding of how their mind works thereby helping them take the first step towards understanding themselves. We believe, that there is a wonderful sense of hope in helping children and young people understand how their brain works. That comes from the fact that there is nothing about ourselves that we cannot fundamentally change if we are prepared to do the work required. This means that no matter how deep the damage runs, there is still hope that it can (eventually) be unlearned or at least diluted to a level where it no longer governs our lives.\\As a result, InMind Children's Services have created specialist treatment programmes and innovative ways of helping children overcome these traumas through personalised and specialist pathways of care, education and therapy. These are delivered through a range of services including specialist children's homes, special independent schools and specialist residential treatment centres.\\Our Vision\\To provide the best specialist services in emotional and psychological trauma for traumatised children and young people through the excellence of our staff, our research driven care and our innovative practice.\\Our Mission\\Hope and healing for traumatised children and young people.
