Hotel Het Arresthuis was a former prison and is opening in the spring of 2011... This 4 star deluxe hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre of Roermond. It has 43 rooms which 7 luxury suites. The hotel is a monumental building. When you walk into the hotel you find a lot of old elements, like the old stair in the cellblock and the cell doors. From 3 former cells, there is now 1 room. So you can still see how small the former cells where. This all gives it a very special ambiance but in a very modern design. Restaurant Damianz is the restaurant of the hotel. The restaurant serves a high quality of food and wines. You can enjoy here a lovely evening with beatifull an high quality dishes.
