We are involved in cooperative development projects in India, Myanmar (Burma), Tanzania, Chad, Niger, Guinea-Bissau, Ecuador, Colombia and Nicaragua. SWISSAID has committed itself to the disadvantaged people in the Southern Hemisphere – especially in those areas where there are no other organisations on hand to help them. We do not shy away from showdowns with multinationals, major land owners or organisations that are polluting the environment either.
