Chartered in July 1996, South Carolina PMI Midlands Chapter now serves a membership of over 400, representing approximately forty businesses and industries including insurance services, engineering, financial, manufacturing, telecommunications, public utilities, higher education institutions, as well as state and local governments.Our goal is to provide opportunities for professional development, affiliation and project management networking through various means including monthly luncheon meetings addressing current PM topics. Educational opportunities include an ongoing alliance between PMI SC Midlands Chapter and Midlands Technical College to provide PMP Certification Preparation training.Luncheon meetings are held in Columbia on the 3rd Monday of each month (except in January, held on the 4th Monday). Our event calendar culminates with the Annual Dinner Meeting held in November.Our service region includes zip codes in the 290 - 292 & 295 ranges. This covers the Columbia Metropolitan area, Sumter, Camden, Florence and Myrtle Beach.
