Red Door Sounds was superbly converted from an old Church into a studio in 1998 when it was called Studio One. The name change came in October 2010 when the studio was taken over by a new partnership: Chris Cheney, Emma Cheney, Paul ‘Woody' Annison & Rae Harvey. Combined they have vast experience across many different aspects of the music industry including: producer, songwriter, touring & recording artist, live engineer, manager, label owner, promoter and more. Red Door Sounds features a mix of vintage pre amps (Neve/Vintech); compressors (UA LA2A, Tubetech); mics (Neumann, AKG, Rode) and backline (Fender, Gretsch, Pearl) all through the superb routing and clarity of the SSL. 3 excellent yet completely different sounding recording rooms: The Live Room (like it sounds); The Dead Room (a great room for a 70's drum sound); The Natural Room (beautiful acoustics with adjustable baffling) and a large Control Room in a relaxed yet pro-environment.
