The Wrightsville Beach Museum has been in operation since the spring of 1996, located in the Myers Cottage at the Wrightsville Beach Historic Square. The museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the promotion, education and preservation of the unique history of the Wrightsville Beach community and its surrounding area. Today, the museum is open year round and offers programming and events designed for both local residents and visitors alike. The Wrightsville Beach Museum of History, housed in the turn of the century Myers Cottage, exists to preserve and to share the history of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Visitors to the museum will find a scale model of Wrightsville Beach circa 1910, exhibits featuring the early days of the beach including Lumina Pavilion, our hurricane history, and information about the interaction between the people and our natural environment which have shaped the 100 year history of Wrightsville Beach.Email: wbmuseum@bizec.rr.com
