As of 1934 the first taxis of Taxi Goverde are driving around. For decades the cab department was quite a small part of the family company Goverde-Kouters. Besides cabs, there were also several coaches. Nowadays the family company is split into 3 companies: * A coach company, Brabant Expres * A travel agency, Pelikaan Reizen * A taxi company, Taxi Goverde As of 1994 Jan and Harry Goverde are in charge of the taxi company and ever since the taxi company has grown into a large, professional business. The company is specializing in healthcare taxi, businessclass taxi and grouptransportation. Nowadays Taxi Goverde has 145 employees, 70 cars ans minibuses and 10 special vehicles such as stretched limousines, small coaches and some oldtimers.
