Research Team Coordinator at DEEP SPACE INITIATIVE - Denver, Colorado, United States
Deep Space Initiative is a non-profit organisation that is working on creating a virtual environment that promotes collaborative interdisciplinary research related to Space Stations, Interplanetary Settlements, and Deep Space Travel.Great emphasis is placed on building a community that supports mentorship, collaboration, education, and creativity to foster serious scientific endeavours, to the highest of standards. Systems thinking is regarded as imperative for efficient and productive scientific progress, which is why communication between teams is essential. Our program is primarily divided into two phases, where teams work under the guidance of experts. In phase one, team members build a strong foundational understanding of the topic to determine the problems or current challenges that need to be addressed. In phase two, teams are given the opportunity to work on solution development, by conducting hands-on experimental studies at laboratories, institutions, industry, or analog research stations.
