Young Leaders International is an organization run by like-minded individuals with a solemn goal to redefine standards of quality debate. We aim to spread awareness regarding pressing global issues. We have teamed up with international organizations that also have a similar directive. YLI is also a charitable organization that will be donating a percentage of its post-event savings to organizations like UNICEF and CRY. We are doing this because we, rightly, believe that children are the future and that an investment in their growth and well-being is an investment in humanity's growth and well-being. It is for these same reasons that YLI organizes Model United Nations conferences. MUNs go a long way in helping children develop their oratory and debating skills; it also encourages them to speak up on issues that hold importance to them and to the world at large. It introduces them to a world where social awareness and extensive general knowledge is the norm. Above all, YLI is an organization for the children, by the children, of the children.A Model United Conference or an MUN is a simulation of the United Nations where students represent delegates of various nations in different councils and discuss pressing issues of the world. This conference allows people to voice out their opinions and ideas on global issues that matter and make decisions that can make a drastic difference in the workings of international affairs and foreign policies various nations. It simulates actual proceedings of the United Nations, promotes diplomacy, improves decision-making skills, especially under pressure, improves social skills, and ends up developing you as an individual. We are organizing our inaugural edition on 24th and 25th of June, 2017.
