The Westcapital Group was founded in 1998 by businessmen Alan Johnson and Ian Goodenough.Johnson and Goodenough first started out in the engineering business through Pipe Supports Australia - supplying a range of brackets, pipe supports, fire sprinkler supports, and mechanical & electrical support systems to the commercial construction industry from their Belmont factory.Pipe Supports Australia has grown to become a leading supplier to industry in Western Australia, supplying several landmark projects throughout the State including:Graham Farmer Freeway Tunnel Coles and Woolworths Logistics Distribution Centres at Perth Airport Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre Wastewater Treatment Plants at both Beenyup & Woodman Point Shopping centre expansions at Innaloo, Lakeside Joondalup, Whitford City & Westfield Carousel Looking to the future ahead, Johnson and Goodenough sought to expand their business interests. Their first development project was undertaken on Deanmore Road, in Scarborough. This was soon followed by an up-market townhouse development in the trendy locality of Leederville, the Allum Green retirement village in Merriwa, and the Westcapital Commercial Centre in Belmont.
