Youth Without Shelter (YWS) is the singular emergency residence and referral agency located in Etobicoke serving homeless youth. YWS not only offers safe shelter but has evolved to offer a full circle of wrap around empowering programs to over 1,000 homeless youth, ages 16 to 24, annually: 33 bed Emergency Residential Program; Steps to Success life skills and employment program; Housing and After-Care Program; Educational Outreach Program; and a long-term transitional 20 bed Stay in School Program Residence.Since its opening YWS has helped more than 15,000 homeless youth to take steps towards independence, and to find long-term stable housing and jobs. Together we can "end homelessness, one youth at a time, one step at a time."
