It is the mission of Mending Hearts to provide shelter, hope, and healing to women who may be homeless due to addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide housing and programming to create sustainable lives for our women who are recovering from substance abuse and mental health disorders. We provide the safety net they need to achieve sobriety, healthy thinking, decision making, education, and jobs to support themselves so they can begin their new lives.Our desire is to provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where true healing and recovery can take place. We use an evidence-based and collaborative approach to treatment, recognizing that each woman in our care is an exceptional individual who can contribute actively to her recovery. We will walk with you through the pain and fear that can accompany your addiction to help you create your own life free of the overwhelming shame.
