For many STEM students, labs are the best part of school. They grant hands-on experience and deepen students' immersion and understanding of course subjects. Unfortunately, the logistics and budget required to support hands-on education at a large scale is a huge limiting factor for many educational institutions. Virtual Reality (VR) technology is the cheapest and most accessible it has ever been, and is finally ready to be used as an educational instrument. EduReality is developing high quality VR simulations to allow effective hands-on learning while avoiding traditional problems like budget limitations, safety concerns, staff limitations, equipment failure, accessibility, and distance learning.
