We used to be called Qingdao Ruixiao Shopping Bag, however, after these years, we found out that this name only make sense to ourselves in Chinese, but for our customers, it is truly hard to understand what it means. Therefore, we decided to rename us as Poplar Gifts. You might ask "Why Poplar ? ", here is why: Poplar is a tree that can survive under the worst environment or situation, like lack of water in a desert etc. What we want to express is our Poplar Spirit, to survive no matter what happens and be the strongest when thunderstorm comes. In the year of 2006, Poplar was born, started with 2 family members, 1 friend, 2 computers, 10 something square meters living room and our spirit. Aiming to produce all kinds of Eco-friendly bags, after 2 years, in 2008, our own bag factory was built up. Now we have around 60 experienced workers and a lot of machines. Poplar resides in a 152 Sq meters brand new office located in Qingdao, China where is recognized as one of the best places for summer vacation. Natural light streams in through the windows, that is when our typical day gets started, normally at 8:30 AM, except Fridays which can be 9:30 instead. At Poplar, the whole team means a lot, so we cherish the time being together, get the back for each other, share snacks, lunch together, learn and growing to be better, most importantly, <: Have Fun :> !Over the past 10 years, we have experienced some ups and downs, but luckily we survived through those challenges. However, the challenges never end, there will be more and more coming to us, but we have a whole team aligned and ready for them with our Poplar Spirit.
