Yury.it is a magazine about music, movies, arts, current affairs and social life that has its heart in Genoa. Born from the idea of a designer and an aspiring journalist, Yuri.it is written and built by a small handful of thinking heads of various social backgrounds, of different geographic origin, and individual self-interest. The sum of their invention meant that grew increasingly the primordial idea, that of a logo inspired by the mythological "figure" of the Soviet Aviator Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space ".Yury.it proposes instead as "human-first", a virtual place where you focus your ideas, opinions and the most important facts of an enlarged generation that has some things to say and to say. Between the serious and the playful, Yury's editors seek to reflect those who still have the means to do so on serious themes and our tie-breaking news, starting from the point of view other than more traditional print media or TV lounges. The ancient weapon rhetoric of irony is functional, to say, making the reader smile, even about inappropriate things. It wants to open minds with frivolous arguments, perhaps trivial, to open our eyes to those who do not want to see the most contradictory aspects of everyday life.Yuri Gagarin's myth, devoid of any ideological declination, is here interpreted as a profound metaphor: seeing the world from a different perspective is an experience that we wish all because it can raise awareness.
