Started by a husband and wife team in 1987, the Art City Music Academy has spent the last 34 years bringing its students the best value in music education. Our comprehensive group curriculum was has been carefully refined by our director, Yvonne Blonquist, to lay the foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and prepares students for any instrument. Ear training, theory, technic and practice habits, are all covered sequentially, solidified through fun songs, and mastered through regular performance opportunities. In our private program curriculum, we continue our high standard of quality education. Starting with our university-trained instructors, each teacher completes the requirements of our pedagogy certification, bringing expertise to every lesson and ensuring progress in each student.
