We are a new group of schools based in Sulaimaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan. We opened our firsts schools in Sulaimaniyah and Erbil in September 2011 and are hoping to expand further in the region over the coming years.The British International Schools, Kurdistan will occupy attractive sites conveniently located in Sulaimaniyah and Erbil. Iraqi Kurdistan is recognised as a safe and welcoming place where the conditions are right for prolonged economic growth. Reception through Year 9 follows the National Curriculum of England, with suitable adaptations to take into account our location in Iraqi Kurdistan. Students in Year 10 and 11 have a wide range of IGCSE options to choose from and Years 12 and 13 will prepare for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
