We are a multidisciplinary group of students and healthcare providers, industry representatives, and other passionate community members from around the world who have joined together in an international effort to support for those who are working at the frontlines during these uncertain times.The Hippocratic oath taken by physicians holds them accountable and responsible for the health of their patients and community. In addition, the Hippocratic oath charges physicians with a great responsibility towards those who train them, the attending physicians and residents, their families, and their patients. Many students around the world have been sent home from classes and clinical duties, yet as members of the global community, when we feel that we can not, and will not, sit idly when their community is at war against COVID-19. We are motivated by the spirit of the Hippocratic oath. Through our efforts we hope to offer our volunteer support to care for caretakers, to share knowledge, to provide the community with accurate information to help prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19, and to serve as a bridging medium to connect needs to resources.
