ABOUT USWindaan is an Aboriginal service based on the Mid North Coast. Windaan was created to help and support Aboriginal children, families and the community by providing culturally appropriate NDIS and Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services.OUR NAME, OUR LOGO, OUR PURPOSE1. The name Windaan is from the Gumbaynggirr word meaning Blady Grass, and traditionally Blady Grass was used for thatching shelters and weaving bags.2. We come with a strengths based approach to relationships; we acknowledge the existing strengths of all who we work with.3. We connect and come together with others to achieve positive outcomes; Aboriginal Services, Aboriginal Communities and Aboriginal people.We take the time to have clear vision and build things for a valued purpose.
