The Vision for the Connexional Team is to be a highly professional and distinctively Christian workforce to assist the Methodist Church in furthering its purposes. The purpose of The Connexional Team is to support the Wider Church. The Methodist Council entrust us to work on the work plan, all the work we do in team is to support the Methodist Church fulfil its calling. The Connexional Team is organised into departments, what we call, Clusters. Finance & ResourcesThis cluster includes the Administration team, Reception, Facilities, IT, Procurement and Finance. Essential for the supportive operational services to the Connexion and wider church. The HR and Development Team and well as executive support sit and report directly to the Connexional Secretary. Discipleship & EvangelismThis cluster is made of Learning and Development, Children, Youth and Family, Evangelism & Growth and Education. There is also a Youth President and a Project Officer within this cluster. This cluster develops credibility as a focused team of expertise.Mission & AdvocacyThis Cluster has four teams which includes Global Relationships, Joint Public Issues, Publishing & Communications and Engagement. The job of the cluster, is to nurture, encourage, provoke and challenge Christians to engage in mission and advocacy locally, connexional and globally.The Conference Office The purpose of The Conference Office is to assist the Secretary of the Conference in carrying out the responsibilities ensuring that the Church has in place structures and processes that enable the Conference, other connexional bodies, Districts, Circuits, and Local Churches, in accordance with their respective natures, purposes and functions. The office includes; Legal, Constitutional Practice and Discipline, Property, Faith and Order, Ecumenical, Ministries, Safeguarding and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
