Based on the belief in the need to build a better tomorrow for our children, Ajialouna began its work on March 1, 1995 in the city of Beirut through the implementation of multiple projects in school health, health education program, textbooks for public schools, and orphan sponsorship.With the desire to cover a larger area in Lebanon, and to implement the vision and goals of the organization, Ajialouna kept introducing new centers and programs relying on the perseverance and the exceptional spirit of solidarity demonstrated by its members, staff and the female volunteers.In 2011, and after 16 years of hard work, Ajialouna expanded its scope of activities and projects to include 16 programs in social affairs, development, training, and healthcare services and established seven district public health clinics, three dental clinics and two medical centers one in Beirut which includes 16 medical specialized clinics and one in Tripoli which includes 9 medical specialized clinics.Currently, Ajialouna is studying and planning proper mechanisms for the expansion of its projects to include most Lebanese regions, and various social groups.Most of the programs in Ajialouna are funded by grants from generous individuals, companies, and sponsors. Donations are accepted all year round, with the month of Ramadan having the highest percentage of donations for programs that target women, children, and the elderly.
