Maryam Nassir Zadeh at the Lower East Side features an array of eclectic mix of worldly and unusual items that will make anyone inspired by such keen curation. The owners, Maryam and her husband Uday Kak have created a very unique and personal space by bringing together designer clothes next to modernist sculptures, sculptural jewelry with handpicked flea market finds on handmade wooden tables, oxford shoes and leather bags against the exposed cement. A contrast between an old and new aesthetic can be seen in every aspect of composition in the store. The space is striking and wide open, large glass windows and minimalist white-painted brick walls allow the boutique's selection to really shine.
