Applied Behavior Analysis, commonly known as ABA focuses on reducing maladaptive behaviors while improving skill acquisition, language/communication, social skills and fostering independence. An important part of learning is dictated by the experiences in our child's environment. Behavior is everything we do, and it is a function of its consequences. In ABA we use research-based techniques, data, and analysis to best implement individualized procedures to improve socially significant behaviors.
