Pedestrian is an arts education charity based in the heart of Leicester's bustling city centre. We believe that with the right levels of support and timely intervention everyone can achieve their goals, we call this work 'Pioneering Potential'.We provide education and training to young people at risk and vulnerable adults in Leicester, Leicestershire and across the Midlands. Such individuals are often socially excluded, not in education, employment or training (NEET) or experiencing disadvantage.Our services include alternative education for 14-16 year olds and socially impactful outreach projects in creative subjects, including music, art, crafts, photography, video, interactive media and performing arts. As a registered centre for awarding bodies NCFE and Arts Award (Trinity College), we are able to offer accredited qualifications up to Level 3, including invigilated assessments as part of Progress 8 qualifications.
