LEBO ZULU CREATIVES was established in 2008 by Lebo Zulu. The Production Company was established with the sole purpose of turning Performing Arts in to a profitable business. Lebo Zulu has been involved in performing arts for 15 years. Performing Arts has always been seen as a business for White people and Entertainment and a Hobby for black people. The irony is that 90% of people who have always been involved in the arts as performers are blacks and whites are always seen as managers. Most of our successful Artistic work is created by black people but owned by white companies. LEBO ZULU CREATIVES was created to turn that around by making the business of arts our business and taking ownership of our own Artistic Work."The role of the arts is to uplift our spirits, to entertain, to stimulate our minds, to excite critical thought and to enrich our lives by touching those areas of being beyond the reach of everyday discourse.
