1 PLASTIC LIFE is a non profit 501(C)(3) tax exempt public benefit organization.Our mission is to help reduce plastic pollution in low income communities by providing job training opportunities to homeless and unemployed people..We built the *PRECIOUS PLASTIC open source machines, (created by Dave Hakkens)which assist our work and commitment to reducing plastic waste and utilizing plastic to form something new and often useful products.We strive to partner with as many local schools, businesses, and organizations in Los Angeles by raising the awareness on recycling, providing education and inspiring constituents as well as students to collaborate on collecting plastic waste . 1PL Bins are placed at designated PARTNER locations and community are able to contribute plastics wastes into these recepticals.since 2018, 1plasticlife has been raising awareness and fighting against the catastrophic plastic pollution waste in our cities and nearby oceans. Our commitment to helping establish positive economic incentives for our local homeless and unsheltered individuals whom we mainly work and provide jobs towards. 1 Plastic Life is the world's first leading environmental organization in Los Angeles working in low income communities to collect, wash, shred, and recycle plastic waste to support create a path of sustainability and human responsibility.We are a Certified Community Service Recycling Program with CalRecycle. We have big dreams of helping the world and helping people!
