Management Consulting - Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain
I have been living and working in Spain since 2004. I quickly learned that speaking the Spanish language was key to balancing a great personal life with business responsibilities. It was important to me that people understood my values and my integrity as well as my business goals. I've made some funny errors, but, more worryingly, I've also made errors that called my intelligence into question which left me feeling insecure and uncomfortable. Integrity, belief, trust; We buy from people, not companies, therefore, it's important that our message is understood completely and without ambiguity. You will build lasting relationships with clients who trust you, understand your message and believe that you will deliver on your promises.Effective and appropriate communication is important when building any relationship even in our native language so we need to be much more concise when using a second language.I am a Business English coach with extensive experience coaching and delivering classes and seminars to Spanish executives. I'm as passionate about business as I am about my family, friends, and Manchester United Football Club ;) I'm inspired by challenge and results driven - essential for running a successful business - but I am a language student too; my trials and tribulations learning Spanish have given me an empathetic edge.As a business woman graduating from a CELTA qualification in 2009 I noticed a gap in the existing market for Business English and founded 3LJ. The vision was to offer specialist language services that focused on the application of the language. I wanted our sessions to have an immediate impact on the individual, whatever their rank in a company, and on the business, whatever its product or service. Our name, 3LJ, encapsulates our ethos, and the Life Long Language (3L) Journeys (J) our clients take. Because no two journeys are the same, our learning packages are individually tailored to fit our customers.
