9th Planet produces behavior modeling videos and ready-to-use lesson plans to teach social and executive function skills to high functioning individuals on the Autism Spectrum. 9th Planet education products are designed to engage unmotivated social skill learners. The videos use high impact visuals and a story line about a young man from a different planet who is learning to navigate the social rules on this planet. Lesson plan materials include high interest activities, such as role plays, improvisation exercises and video production projects. One skill set package produced by the company is called "Job Searching on the Spectrum." This package focuses on teaching learners the social and executive function skills they need when looking for a job. Video behavior modeling is an effective strategy for teaching social skills to those on the autism spectrum. The videos and lesson plans are used by teachers and therapists throughout the United States as well as Australia, the U.K. and Canada.
