A Detroit-based nonprofit organization serving Detroit, Pontiac and Flint communities using evidence- based, educational tools to empower children and families to stop the violence of child sexual abuse. We educate adults that work with youth showing why prevention education is so important, and raising awareness in local communities to help reduce the staggering statistics. 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused by the time they are 18 years old, and 90% of children are sexually abused by a family member or by someone the family knows. A Courageous Voice (ACV) is committed to this movement to stop child sex abuse.
