Nonprofit Organization Management - Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria
Acha Memorial Foundation (AMF) is a nonprofit in Africa addressing gaps in community health and capacity development. Its flagship project, the MasterStroke project educates people about stroke and supports rehabilitation from stroke. The idea for our flagship project "MasterStroke" started with the death of a loved one in 2015 after he suffered a stroke in Africa. Through the project, AMF is reducing the number of stroke cases in Africa one local community at a time; providing life saving information to local people; connecting them to the right treatment facilities; creating support systems and tools to help rehabilitation. AMF works on independent projects that tackle specific community health and capacity related social problems within local communities. This framework is the cornerstone for accomplishing our broader vision (overall goal) of creating better lives for local African people. Acha Memorial Foundation is incorporated as a non-profit society under the Companies and Allied Act No. 1 of 1990 by the Corporate Affairs Commissions, Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO 78848).
