ACOUSTIC ROSS is an AntiFolk solo artist, songwriter and music nerd. He creates solo acoustic music that isn't quiet, mellow, or boring, just GOOD: original music that makes you rock / laugh / cry / sway / all of the above / none of the above. "A smart smart-aleck... His friendly demeanor belies his acid wit." – Tulsa World In 2010 ACOUSTIC ROSS joined forces with Tulsa's original sword-swallowing, knife-throwing, fire-breathing, snake-dancing carnival sideshow troupe, the Crispy Family Carnival, becoming its house troubadour, co-MC and stage manager, among other things. Since then ACOUSTIC ROSS has performed all over the midwest, and points east and west, with this traveling band of carnies, composed its official theme song, scarred himself on its weapons of destruction, and lots of things we maybe shouldn't go into detail about. Since 2011, the Crispy Family Carnival has been a featured attraction at Oklahoma's TRAIL OF FEAR outdoor haunted house. "like listening to a Gahan Wilson cartoon" - Sam Jones, TV host ACOUSTIC ROSS has released 4 albums, performed more than 350 shows & festivals all over the USA, and spent 4 years fronting the hard-rocking MATH LAB. Equal parts folk, punk, rock, blues, country, pop, with a dash of standup comedy to taste, ACOUSTIC ROSS assaults the stale & stagnant with intelligence & irreverence.
