ActionAid South Africa was established in May 2006 and is member of ActionAid International, a global movement of people working together to further human rights and to defeat poverty.We use the Human Rights Based approach and work with the most excluded, communities and people living in poverty to claim and secure their rights. ActionAid South Africa runs local, national and international programmes and campaigns in Women and Girls Right's, Food and Land Rights, Child Rights and Education, Mining and Extractives, and International Platforms (BRICS, IBSA, SADC, AU, G20 etc).
