Welcome to Action + First Aid, a company that is passionate about and delivers professional training to ensure you learn the practical and essential skills needed to deal with medical emergencies.We offer a wide range of courses, varying in length, that meet both Ofqual and HSE requirements and approvals using Qualsafe Awarding body. These include the three day Emergency First Aid at Work, the two day Recertification Course, the 1 and 2 day Paediatric Course, the 1 day Appointed Persons Course and ½ day AED (automated external defibrillator) course.Action +first aid also deliver mental health first aid courses, 1, 2 or 1/2 day courses that increase the awareness and skills of the candidate so that they are confident in identifying mental health in the workplace. It teaches the candidates to support the person with their situation and sign post them to ongoing support giving the troubled person hope and comfort.We run bespoke courses suitable for your working environment. Previously these areas have included sports organisations, schools, medical practices and nurseries. Action+First Aid also run rugby specific first aid courses associated with Qualsafe and approved by the RFU.We have scheduled courses for individuals and will organise courses specifically for group bookings. These can be at your workplace or at a training venue nearby.We run short courses for carers, parents, nannies, au pairs and babysitters who want to develop the confidence and knowledge to deal with the unexpected without the necessity of completing a certified course.
