Africa 1st is an initiative developed to stimulate new thinking, shape conversations and build businesses as we promote African entrepreneurship. Africa 1st consolidates a range of individual projects and services including the Africa 1st Summit, the Africa 1st Entrepreneur Gala Dinner and the Africa 1st Award.Africa 1st SummitAfrica 1st Summit, taking place from the 30 – 31 October 2019 is a 2 days event organized in cities across emerging economies in Africa bringing like-minded stakeholders united by their passion for business, entrepreneurship and commitment to Africa. The Summit has been created to bring together the most influential business thinkers and doers, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, investors, governments, innovators, artists and sportspeople from across the continent and abroad. Africa 1st Entrepreneur Gala Dinner: The Entrepreneur Gala Dinner is a by-invitation-only networking Gala Dinner with entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, bankers, financial institutions and selected strategic partners. The main event of the evening is the announcement of the Africa 1st Award finalists.Africa 1st Award: Designed to identify and promote the "next big thing" from African entrepreneurs and businesses, the Africa 1st Award acknowledges excellence, innovation, leadership, Young Entrepreneur of the year, African venture of the year, start-up & deal of the year as well as the Next Big Thing Award. The award entertains and celebrates Africa's thinkers and doers.
