Agro Entrepreneurship Competition – AEC is the first of a kind television reality show that promotes agriculture and entrepreneurship at the same platform. The vision of the program is to create agro entrepreneurs and promote the agriculture sector as a whole. The program will empower the youths of today. Channel i's ‘Agro Entrepreneurship Competition – AEC' has started its journey on March 17, 2014 through a series of 1-minute television advertisements on Channel i and through digital promotions in Social media. The competition has ventured as a CSR project of Channel i under the program called ‘Hridoye Mati o Manush' which is hosted, directed and produced by the media personality, agriculture development activist and the pioneer of development journalism Mr. Shykh Seraj. The program has so far been a success with the participation of more than 1500 students from all over Bangladesh. The whole program will air on Channel i in July in the form of a reality show. There were roadshows in three different universities. 186 teams each with 4 members participated and submitted their agro business ideas online. 53 teams were called to pitch their idea on May 06, 2014 in Round 2 of the event. 5 teams have been finally selected to compete in the final round where they will have to directly work in the field. The final event of AEC will take place in August/September. Channel i is looking for Event Sponsor for the final event. We are offering the event partnership for 2,000,000 BDT.
