Agylstor's Edge Computing Solutions provide ultra-high density storage and compute platforms that keep data processing close to the source. For many organizations the edge is within their data centers. But what about applications where the edge is beyond the four walls of a data center? What if your edge is a harsh environment, on a battlefield, an on-site movie shoot, or a power plant? What if the edge changes frequently? Agylstor's Edge Computing Solutions provide compute mobility and storage portability to address the unique challenges of moving compute to the point where data is generated.Agylstor's Edge Computing Solutions pack 32 Linux servers along with up to 2PB** of flash storage within a single 4U enclosure. Each system contains up to 32 100 GbE network interfaces that operate in parallel to load and unload a petabyte of data in about 1 hour. Agylstor systems use a new flash form factor called a "Bryck". Each bryck measures 4" x 4" x 9" and is ruggedly designed to withstand harsh environments. Like a huge thumb drive, Brycks may be removed from the 4U enclosure and physically shipped to transport huge datasets overnight.
