Alexandria Model of European Union ( Alex MEU) is a simulation of European Union started at 2010 to enhance youth capabilities and develop their skills through giving them the opportunity to have the life of an EU member. This model is organized by ( Step Up youth Initiative - SUYI) which is initiative based in Alexandria, Egypt, launched at March 16, 2010.The founding members are a group of young civil activists and volunteers that have the experience in organizing and designing informal youth to youth education projects.Every year step up engage 600+ youth calibers into the civil society through the implantation of 6+ projects annually through its four mega projects.Alex MEU consists of 3 main stages:1-Preparatory stage: Where delegates learn more about the European Union : history , structure , economy and many other optics this stage also includes workshops to enhance required skills for delegates to develop their personality and enhance their abilities. 2- Advanced stage: where the delegates are divided into 6 councils of European Union to know more about each council , its history , its role in the EU and more academic and non-academic sessions related to the council 3- Conference stage: Where delegates see the results of the skills and knowledge they have already learnt through the past two stages and apply them to solve the cases they simulate through that final stage
