ALIVE loves and teaches elementary students who are experiencing unstable situations such as foster care, homelessness, or undocumented status.Through strategic education, children come to embrace who they are, envision their future, and engage the skills they need to actualize their power from within.ALIVE customizes instruction, working with data and stakeholders to teach to the needs of each child. Through academic and social-emotional learning, students navigate through fear and struggle, becoming adept at social-emotional problem-solving so that they can connect, innovate, and learn. Students become inspired and equipped to embrace social and academic opportunities, developing individual and communal roots during a time of upheaval.
