Alliance for Community Trees is now a program of the Arbor Day Foundation. Since its founding in 1993, Alliance for Community Trees has grown into a vibrant network of over 200 member and program partner organizations that promote the environmental, economic, public health, and social benefits of trees and urban forests. Alliance for Community Trees is dedicated to improving the environment where over 90% of Americans live–cities, towns, and metropolitan areas. Together, local Alliance for Community Trees member organizations have planted 15 million trees across the U.S. with help from over 5 million volunteers.
